Hello and Welcome!
There are all kinds of coaches, sports coaches, fitness coaches, health coaches, business coaches, life coaches… the list goes on. There are also as many definitions.
I stopped the Google search on page 10. Here’s my best definition of what I do:
A coach is a professional mentor that helps an individual set direction by providing guidance, perspective, tools, feedback, and accountability to help you achieve your goals more strategically.
You may be thinking; so what kind of coach do I need? I’m in my later 40’s; I’ve raised my kids, I don’t want to return to the corporate world (which is not the same as I remember it), and I don’t want to play Bunco and volunteer in the church nursery. Those are good things but they can’t be the highlight of my life. I don’t want to feel useless.
I’m feeling stuck and I’m not sure what I need. I could stand to lose a few pounds, and I guess I should start working out more. Maybe I’ll start my own business or non-profit? What’s everyone else doing? My head is spinning with possibilities, and with just as many reasons why they are not possible. Do I need a counselor?
I am a Certified Life Coach for women in mid-life. I can help you organize your thoughts, recognize your gifts, and map out INTENTIONAL steps for your unique journey. You can move into your next season with purpose, on purpose.
We haven’t met, but let me take a stab at why you are here.
You have been the ultimate multi-tasker, taking care of everyone and everything; and you are qualified to run a small country! Now what?
I work with women like you asking the same question. We all want to know where we fit and how we can make a difference. What is my purpose and calling in THIS season?
A hot bath, the newest self-help book, and a vacation are all nice, but they are not a long term solution?
You have the right and responsibility to take on new territory. Are you ready?
Through individual one-on-one coaching sessions, in person or virtually, or
small group retreats ( with sisters just like you), I can help you articulate your feelings.
- To talk about yourself as if you were a friend worth cheering on.
- How to deal with your changing roles, body, and mind.
- Identify your biggest dream, your biggest fear, and your biggest obstacle.
- Learn insights and skills to find your purpose, on purpose
- To recognize where you have been, where you are now, and where you want to go.
- To set specific goals, priorities, and steps to achieve your dreams.
Don’t let time tick by while you try to figure it out alone. Don’t remain stuck and feel useless. Let’s find your voice so you can step into your next chapter with confidence and purpose!
