I had a conversation with a friend- one of those “I need to vent, and you are a safe place” - confessions that happen unscripted. She was frustrated and a little afraid. She felt like time was passing her by too quickly, her dreams were running out of time, and although she was competent in her current role she was apprehensive about what she would do when she was no longer needed.
I had to laugh; she was worried about being useless and I was 20 years older than she was! And she was asking me for advice on how to live on purpose because she saw it in me but not in herself. I work with women like you asking the same questions and having the same concerns. We all want to know where we fit and how we can make a difference. What is my purpose and calling in this next season?
I’ve tried the hot bath, the newest self-help book, the vacation (all VERY nice) but they are not the solution. My husband and I have a 30-year marriage, a blended family of seven children, and eight grandchildren. I have survived decades of 115 degrees plus Phoenix summers - and enjoyed just as many lovely “winters”.
I’ve co-owned businesses, been on church staff, coordinated weddings and events, mentored, coached, parented, and worn many hats. You have, too.
There is always new territory that you are called to invest in. I call it “spendable wisdom”; a responsibility to use what you have learned to move forward helping others.
You have the time and resources to dream big and I will provide you with the encouragement, straight talk accountability, and generously share my toolbox of experience to get you going to the next third of your life.
Through individual 1:1 coaching sessions, or small group retreats with sisters just like you; I can help you organize your thoughts, recognize your talents, and map out intentional steps towards your unique journey.
